Further proof that anti-war jagmo's hate the troops

Cpl. Scott Vincent's name appears on an anti-war T-shirt. It is among 1,700 names on the shirt, casualties of the war in Iraq.
According to the New York Post, he T-shirt in question also says "Bush lied", "They died".

Now it would be ridiculous to assume that all 1,700 of those brave men would support the anti-war t-shirt that mocks their actions in Iraq.
Indeed, the mother of Cpl. Scott Vincent intervened, and asked jagmo and t-shirt entrepreneur Dan Frazier to remove her sons name from his shirt.

What do you think Dan's actions were?

Do you think, because he "cares" about the soldiers, that he would remove the name from the shirt?

Why... that would take a good $20 to create a new silkscreen.

Nope. Jagmo Dan Frazier sent out a public letter praising the "bravery" and "sacrifice" of the soldiers, and said that he would continue to sell t-shirts with
Cpl. Scott Vincent's name on them.

I have a new headline for your t-shirt, jagmo Dan Frazier:
"Soldiers died", "So I could sell more t-shirts"

Asshole.

That's great and all, but it is Congressman Dan Boren, a Democrat from Oklahoma, that is pushing the legislation to ban it, not a Republican.

That doesn't make the guy any less of an asshole, and who said that this has anything to do with Republicans vs. Democrats?

I'm against anti-war jagmos. I don't care if they be Republican, Conservative, pro-Saddam, or pro-Castro.

You're reading your own baggage into my posts.

I'm a veteran and I doubt anyone would challenge my right to comment on this issue.

As I see it, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights should appear as the latest casualties on Mr. Frazier's T-shirts.

If you disapprove of the T-shirts then don't buy them. But I personally don't appreciate anyone's disdain for the product evenually leading to the lessening of my own Constitutional rights.

My opinion is that anyone who argues against Mr.Frazier is just as radical as he is. And I further believe that they have little appreciation for what it means to be an American.

I live in Flagstaff where Mr. Frazier writes editorials every other day in our local newspaper. He is a coward who hides behind the written words he spouts but wouldn't answer the questions of a Fox News reporter. Shame on him for making a living off our dead servicemen and woman. Stand up and be a man and answer the tough ones.

You do not have the constitutional right to slander me, or commit libel against me.
Similiarly, you don't have the right to use someone elses image without their permission.

Does that mean that someone has lessened your Constitutional rights?
Of course not.
The Constitution recognizes that there is such a thing as irresponsible speech, that interferes with other people's rights.

In this case, the jagmo used the name of a dead person and tried to use it to further his cause. I think the Constitution isn't in danger if we stop this guy from using a dead person's name.

Like I said, you are just as radical as he is.

Why do you feel that you need to make an issue out of this? It is so not a real issue.

You obviously don't know the definition of slander, either. Just out of curiosity, what is your education level?

Do you think that everyone wants all of the attention they get? Dead or not, if you're in the public eye then you are newsworthy. You obviously promote censorship.

I've discussed this issue with a group of AD SMs and retirees. Not a single one of us has an issue with it. What experience do you have with war and death that makes you more qualified than we?

Try to just get over it. And yourself. I don't even know why I waste my time replying to someone who uses a non-word like jagmo.

I have a bachelors of fine arts, photography. I wrote for two different college newspapers, and took photos for 3.
I attended workshops for libel and slander.
Are we through playing this game yet?

I love that you've chosen to remain anonymous. It kind of sums up how much I believe in what you've said.
