Okay, I promise... last one!

DS: What do you think true patriotism is?
CS: Seeing that there is something wrong in your country and in the world and trying to make the country a better place.

Later, she says, RE: Saddam:
CS: He was their brutal dictator. There are so many brutal dictators in the world and we are not removing them. We propped Saddam up and gave him weapons to gas his own people.
Besides, Bush gives the reason that we were attacked on 9/11 because 'they hate freedom and democracy', so why are we trying to force something on them that they hate? The country is demolished and so many people are dead for something they never asked for.

Okay, Cindy, which is it?
Are you for making the world a better place, or just letting dicatators be dictators?

the world would definitely be better without dictators, but don't tell me that Bush cares about freedom. it's funny that he decided to invade a country floating on oil. and what about other countries like Saudi Arabia? they are supposed to be friends with the US even though they don't have a democracy. But they make good deals for the US with their oil. And what about the US helping dictators like in Chile? come on! let's not be hypocrite, and let's not be naive.

it's funny that saddam hussein is such a big enemy nowadays. the truth is that he was always a criminal, ruthless dictator, but he was friends with the US. why didn't the US ovethrow him before? hmm, try to help me with that one. what about the Taliban? didn't the US help them beat Russia? so much for not wanting dictators. they were one of the worst dictatorships in history, but the US still helped. Can you help me with that one also?
